Ann Curry
Ann Curry has worked as a journalist for 45 years. Her focus is on natural disasters and conflict zones. Curry moved around a lot together with her husband, and did not attend a school for longer than two or three years. Her school was in San Diego Alameda Oregon Virginia. Finally, she graduated Ashland High School. In Medford where she began her broadcasting career with KTVL Channel 10 as an intern. at the age of 22, she became the first reporter to be female at KTVL. Then, she was an anchor/reporter for KGW located in Portland Oregon. In the course of four years, she was appointed an anchor by KCBS TV in Los Angeles. In the course of her work with the station for the duration of six years that she won two Emmy Awards.
